A Potter in 3 Parts:
A selection of images of my undergraduate degree show work: ALGORITHM, AGENCY and ARCHITECTURE. Three bodies of work exploring the scope of pottery as a research tool that challenge the boundaries between Art, Craft and Design.
ALGORITHM: Minimal geometric tableware inspired by an algorithmic approach to design and pottery.
AGENCY: Sculptural porcelain vessels made in response to the idea of agency: a materials ability to affect our environment.
ARCHITECTURE: Sculptural vessels made in response to the dynamic, spatial parallels between the practices of architecture and pottery.
